Drake inks exclusive deal with social broadcasting platform Caffeine

Live broadcasting platform Caffeine has inked a multi-year exclusive partnership with Drake.

As a part of the deal, Caffeine will live stream and co-produce Rap Battles in collaboration with Battle Rap platform, URL.

In 2018, 21st Century Fox invested a combined $100 million into Caffeine and a newly formed venture called Caffeine Studios that is jointly owned by FOX Sports and Caffeine.

The studio creates exclusive esports, video game, sports, and live entertainment content for Caffeine’s platform.

Caffeine claims that its streams are often 15 seconds to a full minute faster than other streaming platforms and that its platform is built on technology that delivers low-latency viewing and interactions.

Other creators who recently started streaming on Caffeine include artists Offset and Doja Cat, the Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster, NBA stars Collin Sexton and Kyle Kuzma and gamers Cartoonz, Ohmwrecker, and Crainer.

The platform also features entertainment, gaming, and sports content from partners like Disney, ESPN, DreamHack, Riot Games, and others.

“It’s exciting to be in a position where I’m able to bring Caffeine to the table and help provide URL with the tools they need to elevate the viewing experience and make it more accessible to fans.“
