Job Overview:

The Senior Royalty Income Tracker will be responsible for monitoring and recording all royalty income streams, ensuring accurate and timely payments to rights holders, and providing financial reports and analyses to the management team and finance departments. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work independently and as part of a team. The Senior Royalty Income Tracker will work in an office setting, supervising the department and providing mentorship to others. May be required to meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities and Duties:

· Monitor and track royalty income from various sources.

· Responsible for recovering missing income and ensuring targets are met.

· Collaborate with legal and accounting teams to ensure compliance with contractual agreements.

· Reconcile royalty statements with internal records and resolve any discrepancies.

· Research both internal and external systems, check various income reports and make changes to the data as needed to ensure that income from our compositions flows correctly.

· Generate regular financial reports detailing royalty income and distributions.

· Develop and improve royalty tracking systems and procedures.

· Prepare presentations of analysis and findings to senior management.

· Provide support during financial audits related to royalty income.

· Collaborate with affiliates and third-party entities using local knowledge to assist with income tracking efforts on a global basis.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.

· Proven experience in royalty accounting or a similar financial tracking role.

· Must be able to work with large datasets.

· Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

· Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills:

· Knowledge of intellectual property law and rights management.

· Experience with royalty & tracking software platforms.

Compensation: Competitive salary and benefits package commensurate with experience. Salary range $100-120k.
