A&R Manager, Domino Publishing Company

Domino Publishing Company is seeking a full-time A&R Manager based in our Los
Angeles, California office. This position reports to the Director of A&R/North America. The
role is responsible for signing writers to our publishing company and working with our
clients to create writing opportunities and collaborations. The successful candidate should
have a well-rounded working knowledge of the music publishing business as well as a
natural ability to build relationships and secure opportunities for the Publishing Company.

Duties include:
• Evaluate talent and sign new writers to Domino Publishing.
• Work with our existing clients to create opportunities to co-write and collaborate
• Seek out potential placement of compositions of Domino repertoire with other
recording artists
• Gather songwriter splits and other pertinent details for completed writing sessions
for the copyright department.
• Keep an organized audio archive from client writing session.
• Cultivate relationships with other publishers, managers and A&R people to secure
opportunities for Domino Publishing clients.
• Positively represent Domino Publishing within the music industry community.
• Provide input to our writers during the creative process.
• Maintain an open dialogue and consistent flow of communication and
collaboration with Domino’s New York and London operations.

Requirements:
• Minimum of three-to-five years of music publishing experience
• Familiarity with the Domino Publishing roster and repertoire
• Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft’s business applications
• Attention to detail
• Ability to multitask
• Availability outside normal business hours attending performances, writing camps
and meeting other industry professionals
