Description
Based in our South-West London office, with the opportunity for hybrid working, One Little Independent Records is looking for an International Marketing Manager to join our team on a permanent basis.
You’ll support the marketing of our artists outside the UK, working closely with UK Project Management, PR, artist teams and management, alongside our network of distributors and partners around the world.
We’re looking for someone with a global mindset and a strong understanding of international and export markets who knows how artists and audiences can develop across different territories. You’ll be able to identify where the opportunities are and translate wider campaign goals into focused, effective activity for individual markets.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead international marketing strategies for an assigned roster of artists, identifying priority territories, audiences and opportunities
- Work with distributors and local partners to drive streaming, sales, visibility and audience growth
- Set priorities and targets by territory, track performance and communicate results and opportunities to label and artist teams
- Coordinate marketing, digital, press, radio and promotional activity across international campaigns
- Manage international marketing budgets and assess territory-specific plans and opportunities
- Make sure partners have the strategy, assets and information they need to deliver effective local campaigns
- Where relevant, appoint, brief and manage external promotional teams in key territories
- Connect release campaigns with international touring and live opportunities, working with artist teams, agents and promoters
- Plan and oversee international promotional activity, including interviews, sessions, showcases and artist trips where required
- Develop strong working relationships with distributors, DSPs, agencies and other international partners
- Keep on top of developments across global music markets, DSPs, media, radio and audience development, identifying opportunities for our artists
About You
You’ll have strong and demonstrable experience in international marketing – or domestic marketing backed by solid global market knowledge – ideally within record labels, entertainment or another relevant creative industry.
You’ll understand international release campaigns, DSPs and audience development, and be comfortable balancing strategy with the day-to-day demands of multiple campaigns and territories.
Organised, collaborative and commercially aware, you’ll be a confident communicator with strong project-management skills. You’ll also be personable and discreet, and comfortable working with artists, managers and industry partners at all levels.
