Description
Sync Coordinator, Silo Music, Beverly Hills
- Four days in office, one day working from home
- Start date: November 1, 2026
About the Role
SILO Music is looking for an organized, music-curious Sync Coordinator to join our team. You’ll help keep our catalog ready to pitch, coordinate sessions and projects, and contribute research and music ideas across our work.
TV and film will be a core focus, working closely with our Creative Sync Manager on research, playlist preparation and incoming searches. You’ll also support projects across trailers, advertising, video games, pop/publishing.
We’re a small team, so you’ll get hands-on experience with how music moves from a writing session to a finished track, a pitch and a placement. As you build familiarity with our catalog and workflow, there will be opportunities to contribute more creatively through searches and proactive custom projects.
What You’ll Do
Catalog and Project Coordination:
- Maintain our DISCO catalogs, uploading incoming music and keeping metadata, credits, tags and assets accurate and ready for pitching.
- Coordinate with artists, producers, writers and publishing partners to collect missing songs, stems, instrumentals and rights information.
- Keep Airtable records current across searches, customs, internal cues, contacts and confirmed placements.
- Help improve catalog organization and workflows across DISCO, Airtable and connected platforms.
Creative Support and Research:
- Research TV and film productions, music supervisors and upcoming opportunities, and maintain current contact records.
- Pull reference tracks, prepare draft playlists and contribute music ideas for incoming briefs.
- Build and coordinate trailer mailers, gathering music, artwork and supporting assets.
- Support custom projects by taking notes on calls, organizing briefs and feedback, and tracking deliverables.
Sessions and Team Support:
- Schedule and confirm writing sessions, meetings and studio bookings, keeping calendars and session records current.
- Coordinate with collaborators and help keep the studio stocked, organized and ready for sessions.
- Support released-song registrations, website and Instagram updates, expense reports and general team administration.
What You’ll Bring
- 1–2 years of experience in music, including sync, publishing, label, management or studio coordination. Internship experience counts.
- Working knowledge of DISCO, including playlist building, tagging and metadata management.
- Strong organization, follow-through and attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing deadlines and flag issues early.
- Broad musical knowledge and an interest in finding the right music for a creative brief.
- Basic familiarity with master and publishing rights, ownership splits and one-stop tracks.
- Clear, thoughtful communication and comfort coordinating with a range of creative collaborators.
- Experience with Airtable or similar database tools is a plus.
- Experience using Canva and creating content for Instagram is a plus.
- You must be based in Los Angeles and available to work in our Beverly Hills office four days a week.
