Description
Sweat is a London music and technology group. Our performance marketing arm has run campaigns for Bonobo, Bicep, Thundercat, Maribou State, Barry Can’t Swim, St Lundi, ADMT and Øneheart, and we are now building out a live division from the ground up.
This is not a job running someone else’s shows. We are hiring a Head of Live to build the arm: set it up, prove the model, and grow it into a business. You will have real ownership and real accountability from day one.
The role
Build shows from scratch across the UK and Europe: venue hire, holds, offers, budgets, settlements
Own ticketing end to end: setup, on sale strategy, scaling, allocations, sales reporting
Lead events marketing. On sale campaigns, paid social, city by city audience targeting, working with our media team on spend and creative
Be the day to day contact for agents, managers and venues, and advance every show
Run multiple builds and on sales at once without any of them slipping
Shape how the division operates and build the team around you as it scales
You
At least 5 years promoting shows, in house or independently. This is a promoter role, not a booking agent role
Know venue hire economics and can build a costing without hand holding
Genuinely understand marketing a show. You know why one on sale sells out and another stalls, and you can read the numbers rather than guess
Driven and self directed. Comfortable owning a P&L, making the call, and being measured on it
Bonus: European routing, festivals, or agency side experience
Details
London based, hybrid. £36,000 to £48,000 depending on experience, plus performance based commission on show profit. OTE £75,000+.
