Senior POWER UP Programme Manager, PRS Foundation, London
We are looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable self-starter who is passionate about new music across all genres with particular expertise and relationships in Black music communities across the UK. You will be passionate about breaking down barriers for Black music creators and executives.
You will have experience of working in the music industry and an understanding of talent development, plus the importance of targeted action to affect meaningful change.
You will be able to work effectively in a busy, hands-on role. You will have a strong track-record as a manager of teams or projects with a keen attention to detail. You will have a broad and up-to date knowledge of music industry developments and challenges for artists, songwriters, producers and industry professionals who are seeking to develop their career and break through glass ceiling barriers. You will be excited about the opportunity to make a difference across the industry.
We are looking for a Senior Programme Manager who can demonstrate exceptional project management, administration, leadership and interpersonal skills; and who has the ability to lead, prioritise and pay attention to detail within a busy, multi-task environment, to assess and compare information effectively in a fair and transparent manner; has experience in income generation and stakeholder management; and who has an interest in and understanding of talent development programmes and the impact of targeted action, particularly in relation to underrepresented talent.
This is a part time role, for 3 or 3.5 days per week. Remuneration is £46,000 – £55,000, which equates to £27,600 – £33,000 for 3 days per week or £32,200 – £38,500 for 3.5 days per week.
