Chrysalis Records/Blue Raincoat Music is a leading independent music company headquartered in London and New York. Along with our US partner Reservoir Media, we own the legendary Chrysalis and Tommy Boy catalogues, and we also represent artists through our management arm Blue Raincoat Artists, and publishing via Blue Raincoat Music Publishing.

We are looking for a Marketing Manager to join our team. The Marketing Manager will lead the development and execution of artist marketing campaigns, from brand positioning through to campaign delivery across digital and traditional media channels, platforms and retail. You will play the lead role in bringing campaigns to life, ensuring they are strategic, collaborative, creative and delivered on time, on budget and in line with commercial objectives.

The role will be based in London, UK and you’ll work within the UK marketing team, reporting into the Director of Marketing.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Lead on the development and delivery of creative and compelling marketing campaigns for our labels and your roster of releases.

Campaign Strategy & Management

Lead the development and delivery of creative, compelling marketing campaigns for your roster of artists and key projects.
Working closely alongside Project Managers and Digital Partnerships team, you’ll devise appropriate, release strategies for new releases, re-releases and streaming initiatives.
Ensure campaigns are insight-led, audience-focused and culturally relevant, using available data and market knowledge.
Ensure the timely delivery of all marketing assets, tools, visuals and release information to internal and external teams.
Coordinate the hiring and management of any external promotional teams across press, TV, radio, social etc.
Build and maintain strong relationships with retail partners, media outlets, promo teams, creative agencies and any new entrants to the industry.

Budgeting, Forecasting & Commercial Delivery

Provide input into campaign forecasting and marketing budgets in collaboration with senior leadership team.
Manage allocated project budgets, ensuring spend is tracked and delivered within agreed parameters.
Monitor campaign performance against agreed objectives and benchmarks, ensure milestones are tracked and monitored.
Prepare regular campaign updates, reports and performance summaries for senior stakeholders.
Collaborate with the Audience Development Manager on advertising planning, asset delivery and performance optimisation, to maximise audience growth and ROI.
Maintain financial discipline, while identifying opportunities to drive additional revenue and audience growth.

International & U.S. Collaboration

Collaborate with the U.S. Marketing Team to ensure timely delivery of marketing tools and creative assets for North American campaign rollouts.
Assist in the UK marketing and commercial delivery of U.S. repertoire releases.
Maintain clear and proactive communication with international counterparts to support campaign effectiveness and delivery.

The ideal candidate will have:

At least +3 years prior experience at a record company
Exceptional interpersonal, confident and communication skills
Impactful presentational skills to convey information and results clearly
The ability to work effectively under pressure and balance priorities
Excellent time-management, organisational skills and strong attention to detail
The ability to take broad campaign concepts and translate into partner specific initiatives that result in sales/streams
A good working knowledge of the music industry, and a passionate commitment to music and artists

This role will involve attending shows and events in the evenings and on weekends.

Office location: London, EC2A close to Liverpool Street and Old Street stations

Office hours: 10am to 6pm, Monday to Friday

Hybrid – minimum 3 days in office, Tuesday core day
