Concord is looking for a full-time International Copyright Manager based in our London office.

As the International Copyright Manager at Concord Music Publishing, you’ll manage and maintain accurate copyright data across multiple catalogues, ensuring proper registration, reporting, and information flow with internal teams and external partners. This role reports to Senior Director, Global Copyright Services.

Responsibilities

What you’ll do

  • Circulate copyright and agreements data for registration with affiliates and sub-publishers.
  • Monitor and review internal data quality to ensure compliance with international requirements and advise relevant teams and affiliate offices of international registration practices.
  • Facilitate the transfer of acquired catalogues with societies and sub-publishers, managing the transition of rights and ensuring proper handling of these catalogues moving forward.
  • Handle complex and urgent queries from sub-publishers and societies.
  • Utilise project management and CRM systems to automate workflows and support internal processes.
  • Assist in ongoing training of junior team members and help create documentation explaining departmental processes.
  • Participate in collaborative efforts to streamline processes, enhance operational efficiency and support revenue optimisation across Concord’s catalogue.
  • Attend internal and external meetings and events as a representative of Concord Music Publishing and assist in ad-hoc projects as required.

Qualifications

What you’ll need to succeed

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a data-focused role within the music publishing or rights management sector.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (lookup functions, pivot tables, cleaning data, conditional formatting, etc.).
  • Demonstrated experience reviewing, querying and analysing large volumes of data is required. SQL/database querying skills highly advantageous.
  • Demonstrated experience with copyright databases; familiarity with CMO databases, metadata, and CWR is advantageous.
  • Experience using project management and CRM systems to track workflows and stakeholder communications is advantageous.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Able to articulate and explain complex information, adapting presentation and focus to varying audiences.
  • Solution-oriented with strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills; a drive for continuous improvement.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.

*This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days minimum on-site.
