Description
Young is a music and arts organisation, built around a London-based record label, that helps exceptional artists locate and develop their genius.
We’re looking for a culturally switched-on coordinator to support audience development across Young Recordings and Young Artists.
Based at Young Space in East London and reporting to the Digital Strategist, you’ll move fluidly between artist worlds — understanding their communities and helping to build the audiences and creator ecosystems around them.
You know how to create and place content in the right corners of the internet. You’re closely attuned to emerging trends and online scenes, and you have a deep understanding of creator and social platform ecosystems.
Day to day, you’ll build and maintain the creator and community networks that underpin our campaigns, support content distribution, and track performance across social and streaming platforms.
The right person is immersed in digital culture, highly organised, and energised by the detail-oriented work that makes campaigns travel and music find its audience.
Responsibilities include:
- Create and curate platform-native content (graphics, video edits/clips), coordinating third-party creators or editors where needed; ensure assets are optimised for distribution and flag content gaps early
- Build and maintain segmented creator lists tailored to each artist and campaign — spanning micro-creators, emerging voices, scene-specific accounts, meme pages and international audience pockets
- Research emerging creators, niche communities and online scenes daily; surface relevant trends and moments to the wider team
- Establish and manage relationships with creators, tastemakers and fan communities
- Pitch content angles and quick-turn opportunities to the label team around campaign moments and emerging trends
- Maintain an organised library of approved content and campaign assets, and support content calendars across platforms for the roster
- Track audience and campaign performance across social, streaming and sales; review and share insights weekly; flag optimisation opportunities
- Provide general campaign support including DSP pitches, profile optimisations, guestlists, fan experiences, and touring and release schedule management
Experience + Skills:
- Minimum 1–2 years in digital marketing or social media within the music or entertainment industry
- Passionately online and culturally plugged-in — deep knowledge of internet culture, emerging creators and niche communities
- Expert-level social media and platform literacy, with a strong grasp of online creator ecosystems
- Able to create and edit compelling content across social and digital platforms
- Data-literate and comfortable with performance tracking and analysis
- Ease in collaborating with artists, managers and online communities
- Highly organised, detail-oriented and proactive
