About The Other Songs
The Other Songs is a global independent music company with the song at the heart of everything we do. Founded by brothers Alastair and Billy Webber, our work spans records, publishing and management.
We have delivered global hits including the 5× Platinum Pump It Up, the 3× Platinum Following the Sun, Ren’s UK No.1 album Sick Boi and the Billboard No.1 Sunset BLVD. Our frontline marketing team also manage and promote some of the world’s most iconic catalogues, including works by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Pete Bellotte, featuring classics such as I Feel Love, Hot Stuff, Love to Love You Baby, The Phantom of the Opera and Memory.
Our songwriters include Bruno Major, CXSPER and Julia Church, and in 2024 we entered a global publishing partnership with Universal Music Publishing Group. We also curate more than twenty live shows at venues including KOKO and The London Palladium, raising over £125,000 for music charities.

Role Overview
We are looking for an ambitious and commercially driven Sync & Brand Manager to lead and significantly grow our synchronisation and brand licensing revenues, reporting into the General Manager. This role is highly outward-facing and will be responsible for originating, negotiating and closing sync and brand deals across advertising, film, TV, gaming and digital platforms.
The successful candidate will bring a proven track record of securing high-value sync and brand licences, alongside a well-established black book of decision-makers across music supervision, agencies, production companies and commercial brands. This role will play a key part in driving topline revenue growth and strengthening The Other Songs’ commercial profile.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial Sync & Licensing:
- Proactively source, pitch and secure sync placements across advertising, film, TV, trailers, gaming and digital mediaLeverage existing senior relationships with music supervisors, agencies and brands to generate consistent deal flowLead commercial negotiations on fees, usage, term and territory in collaboration with internal stakeholders
- Drive monetisation of both frontline releases and catalogue with a clear revenue focus
- Manage the licensing process end-to-end, ensuring efficient execution and timely delivery
Own and manage the company’s DISCO platform, ensuring all catalogue and assets are accurately tagged, maintained and stored to a high standard to support commercial pitching and licensing activity
Brand Partnerships & Revenue Growth:
- Identify, pitch and close commercially driven brand partnerships aligned with artist and catalogue strategy
- Develop repeat and long-term brand relationships that deliver sustainable income streams
- Work closely with brands and agencies to deliver campaigns that meet commercial objectives while retaining creative integrity
- Spot new commercial opportunities across emerging platforms, sectors and markets
Strategy, Reporting & Collaboration:
- Work closely with A&R, marketing and publishing teams to ensure sync and brand activity is embedded into release and catalogue strategy
- Forecast, track and report on sync and brand revenues, pipeline and performance
- Contribute to wider commercial planning and growth initiatives across the business
- Maintain a strong understanding of market trends, rate cards and competitive benchmarks
Skills & Experience
- Demonstrable experience in a senior sync, licensing or brand partnerships role within the music industry
- A proven track record of closing sync and brand licensing deals with measurable revenue impact
- An established network of decision-makers across music supervision, agencies, production companies and commercial brands
- Strong commercial instinct with excellent negotiation and deal-structuring skills
- Highly organised, results-driven and comfortable owning revenue targets
- Strong communication skills and the ability to represent the business at a senior level
- Highly experienced in copyright, licensing structures and key terms
- Confident speaking on both master and publishing sides
- Rate card awareness across ads/trailers/TV/gaming
- UK + US/international experience preferred
