The Other Songs is a global independent music company with the song at the heart of everything we do. Founded by brothers Alastair and Billy Webber, our work spans records, publishing and management.

We have delivered global hits including the 5× Platinum Pump It Up, the 3× Platinum Following the Sun, Ren’s UK No.1 album Sick Boi and the Billboard No.1 Sunset BLVD. Our frontline marketing team also manage and promote some of the world’s most iconic catalogues, including works by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Pete Bellotte, featuring classics such as I Feel Love, Hot Stuff, Love to Love You Baby, The Phantom of the Opera and Memory.

Our songwriters include Bruno Major, CXSPER and Julia Church, and in 2024 we entered a global publishing partnership with Universal Music Publishing Group. We also curate more than twenty live shows at venues including KOKO and The London Palladium, raising over £125,000 for music charities.

Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic, organised, and forward-thinking Marketing Manager to lead the planning and execution of innovative marketing strategies for our artists, releases, and brand initiatives. The ideal candidate lives and breathes music culture, understands how to cut through in a fast-paced digital landscape, and is excited by the challenge of growing an independent label’s footprint globally.

Reporting into the Senior Label Manager, you’ll work closely with artists, managers, the wider label team, and external partners to build creative campaigns that amplify releases, drive audience growth, and strengthen The Other Songs’ brand across platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy & Campaign Management

  • Develop and lead end-to-end marketing campaigns for singles, EPs, albums, and artist storytelling moments.
  • Build bespoke release strategies in collaboration with A&R, Artist Management, Creative, and Digital teams.
  • Create timelines, manage budgets, and ensure all campaign deliverables are executed on schedule.

Content & Creative Direction

  • Manage creation of assets including photos, artwork, video content, social assets, trailers, and campaign branding.
  • Oversee social media calendars, content rollout plans, and digital audience engagement strategies.
  • Brief and manage external creatives, production teams, designers, and agencies.

Digital & Audience Growth

  • Drive artist and label audience development across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Spotify, and other DSPs.
  • Analyse performance data and optimise campaigns in real time.
  • Identify opportunities for growth via partnerships, influencers, digital advertising, and emerging platforms.

Publicity & Partnerships

  • Coordinate with PR teams, media partners, playlist editors, and brand collaborators.
  • Build relationships across DSPs, social platforms, and creative networks to unlock opportunities for our artists.
  • Support planning and marketing of live events, showcases, and brand moments tied to The Other Songs.

Internal Leadership

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with A&R, Production, Live, Creative, and Operations teams.
  • Represent the marketing function in planning meetings and artist discussions.
  • Maintain campaign documentation, reports, and best-practice guidelines.

Required Experience & Skills

  • 3–5 years of marketing experience within a record label, music company, or creative industry environment.
  • Proven ability to run successful music marketing campaigns from concept to delivery.
  • Deep understanding of the current music landscape, digital trends, creator culture, and DSP ecosystems.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple campaigns concurrently.
  • Excellent communication, copywriting, and storytelling abilities.
  • A collaborative mindset, with confidence working directly with artists and managers.
  • Must have a passion for creative marketing campaigns and supporting developing artists.
  • Strong attention to detail, strategic thinking, and a data-aware approach.
  • Experience with paid social campaigns and Out Of Home (OOH) campaigns.

Desirable Skills

  • Established network across DSPs and third-party agencies is highly desirable.
  • Experience with digital advertising tools and influencer/community marketing.
  • Passion for emerging artists, songwriting, and music discovery.
