Description

Digital Marketing Manager

Location Los Angeles, CA or Nashville, TN

Reports to Head of Music

About the Role
Range Music is seeking a Digital Marketing Manager to lead day-to-day digital campaigns for an assigned roster of artists across our Artist Management and Record Label divisions.

Working within the roster priorities, positioning, and marketing frameworks set by the Head of Music Marketing, the Manager turns strategy into campaigns that grow audiences, drive streaming, sell tickets, and build lasting fan relationships. You’ll be the digital lead for your artists’ teams, build and run release and tour campaigns, and manage two Digital Marketing Coordinators.

This is a player-coach role, roughly 50–60% hands-on. You’ll build paid campaigns, write creator briefs, and draft rollout plans yourself, while directing coordinators and external partners on execution.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, culturally curious, and passionate about music, with hands-on experience in artist or label digital marketing and a sharp read on short-form video and creator ecosystems.

How You’ll CREATE
Campaign Strategy and Execution
· Serve as day-to-day digital lead for an assigned set of artists and their management and label teams, with support on roster-wide initiatives.

· Build and run campaign plans for releases and tours within the artist priorities and frameworks set by the Head of Music Marketing.

· Develop rollouts spanning pre-release, release week, and post-release, connecting social, creator, paid, streaming, and owned channels into one plan.

· Build market-specific digital plans to drive ticket sales, using content, creators, paid media, retargeting, email/SMS, and owned channels; adjust by market based on ticketing performance.

· Run campaign check-ins with artist managers and label teams; bring recommendations, timelines, and results.

· For managed artists signed to outside labels, coordinate with external label digital teams to keep campaigns aligned.

· Coordinate with label, commercial, touring, and creative teams so digital plans support broader release and tour priorities.

Creator, Social and Content
· Build platform-specific content plans for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and emerging platforms, tailored to each artist.

· Develop paid and organic creator campaigns; write briefs, source and negotiate with creators, fan accounts, and edit pages within approved budgets.

· Spot organic momentum, UGC, and cultural moments worth amplifying, and move quickly to act on them.

· Brief and manage designers, photographers, videographers, and editors; review assets for quality and alignment with each artist’s identity.

· Work hands-on in CapCut and other creation tools when speed matters.

· Flag platform shifts and new tactics worth testing across the roster.

· Has experience running second accounts, fan club and hq pages.

Paid Media and Performance
· Build, launch, and optimize paid campaigns in Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads Manager, and Google/YouTube for releases, tours, and audience growth.

· Set up pixels, retargeting audiences, and conversion tracking; test creative, audiences, and messaging.

· Track KPIs including cost per acquisition, streaming conversion, ticket sales, and return on ad spend where applicable.

· Work with agencies and partners on larger buys where applicable.

Owned Channels and Fan Development
· Oversee email and SMS campaigns, artist websites, and landing pages for releases, tours, and merchandise.

· Grow first-party fan data through sign-ups, ticketing, merch, and activations, and use it to target and segment campaigns.

· Convert social and streaming attention into owned audiences, ticket buyers, and long-term fans.

Reporting and Budget
· Manage spend within approved campaign budgets; reallocate within a campaign and bring larger shifts to the Head of Music Marketing with a recommendation.

· Track committed, spent, and remaining budgets and report results against goals.

· Measure beyond views and impressions: audience growth, streaming, saves, ticket sales, and fan acquisition.

· Build campaign recaps and results decks; run post-mortems and share learnings with the team.

Team Leadership
· Manage and develop two Digital Marketing Coordinators; set their daily priorities, timelines, and expectations.

· Delegate execution while staying close to the work; hold regular check-ins and give clear feedback.

· Put team workflows, templates, and campaign processes into practice and help improve them.

· Deep, current knowledge of TikTok, Reels, Shorts, creator communities, UGC, and content seeding.
