Creative Publishing Consultant – Pure Tone Music / Silver Sky Music

Pure Tone Music and Silver Sky Music are seeking an experienced, highly connected Creative Publishing Consultant to work across our growing roster of songwriters and catalog of copyrights.

This is a hands-on creative role for someone who knows the publishing business, has strong relationships throughout the music industry, and is passionate about connecting great songs and songwriters with the right opportunities.

The consultant will work closely with the companies’ principals and writers, with three primary areas of focus:

Song Placement & Synch
Proactively pitch songs from our catalogs for outside artist cuts, as well as identify and pursue synch opportunities across film, television, advertising, games and other media. We’re looking for someone who understands both our existing copyrights and the marketplace—and can find creative opportunities where the two intersect.

Writer Development & Collaborations
Help create opportunities for our writers by identifying strong collaborators and setting up productive writing sessions. The ideal candidate will have an active network of songwriters, producers, artists, managers, publishers and A&R executives and a strong instinct for putting the right creative people together.

A&R / New Signings
Identify and bring us promising new songwriters, producers and artist-writers for potential signing. We’re interested in someone who is constantly discovering new talent and has both the ears and industry perspective to recognize writers with long-term potential.

This is an independent consulting position rather than a traditional staff role. As a result, we’re particularly interested in candidates who are already active in the creative publishing community and can bring meaningful relationships, opportunities and ideas to the table from day one.

The right person will be entrepreneurial, proactive and highly collaborative, with excellent creative instincts and a genuine enthusiasm for songs, songwriters and the craft of music publishing.
