Description
About Us
We support independent record labels, distributors, publishers, and recording artists with royalty processing, financial, and administrative services.
Our mission is simple: make our clients’ lives easier by taking the complexity out of royalties and solving problems before they become headaches.
We’re a friendly, collaborative team who value curiosity, innovation and supporting one another.
We’ve built a strong reputation and a loyal client base over the last decade and we’re now making our first dedicated business development hire to help fuel our next chapter.
The Role
We’re looking for a Head of Business Development to join our management team and help shape the next stage of our growth. Reporting directly to the CEO, you’ll play a key role in shaping our commercial strategy.
This is a hands-on role. You’ll build and manage our prospect pipeline, develop relationships across the industry, lead outreach, and own the sales process from initial contact through to signed agreement and successful onboarding. You’ll also be the face of the company at conferences and industry events both in the UK and abroad.
While you’ll own the commercial process, success is very much a team effort. You’ll work closely with the CEO and department heads throughout the sales journey to ensure prospective clients receive the right information, pricing and support.
Who You Are
· You’ve got a strong track record of winning new business and building long-term client relationships
· You’re comfortable creating opportunities rather than waiting for them to appear
· You’re organised, commercially minded, and able to keep multiple opportunities moving at once
· You enjoy working collaboratively and recognise that winning new business is a team effort.
· You’ve ideally worked in music, royalties, accountancy or a related industry, though we’re open to exceptional candidates from other sectors
· You’re based in the UK and have the right to work here, with travel required for conferences and industry events in the UK and internationally
What We Offer
· A competitive salary, dependent on experience
· End of year bonus
· A fully remote role with occasional travel for conferences and events
· Flexible core hours
· Direct access to the CEO and a voice in the decisions that matter
· The chance to build our business development approach from scratch and put your own stamp on it
· A supportive, collaborative team who genuinely enjoy working together
· 20 days holiday plus bank holidays, and additional time off in December (typically around two weeks)
· Healthcare Cash Plan
· Workplace pension scheme, calculated on whole salary
· Occasional in-person get-togethers
