Los Angeles based law firm is looking for a paralegal for its music contracts practice.

The job will include:

• music publishing administration;
• negotiating and drafting talent appearance releases;
• side artist, producer, mixer, and co-writer agreements;
• and master and publishing synch licenses;
• due diligence for catalog acquisitions;
• and various other types of legal documents on behalf of both artist and corporate clients

This job is full-time in the office.

• Minimum three years’ experience at a record label or publisher in licensing or legal/business affairs or in a music law practice.
• Bachelor of Arts degree, excellent writing and organizational skills, ability to work independently and in a team.
• Solid knowledge of copyright, trademark, and name, image, and likeness principles.
