Description

Sweat Strategies is a performance music marketing agency. We work with labels and artists to turn releases into audiences, running paid media, content systems, and cutting edge proprietary tools.

As a result of our growth we are looking for a new Marketing Strategist to own client relationships and the campaigns behind them. This is the person clients deal with directly, the one setting the strategy and accountable for whether it delivers.

The role
You own the relationship between the client and the agency, end to end. You set campaign strategy, brief the paid and creative teams, read the results, and make the calls when something needs to change. Two things matter most here: problem solving when a campaign isn’t performing, and storytelling, the ability to turn data and direction into a clear narrative a client trusts.

Responsibilities
Own client relationships and act as the senior point of contact
Set campaign strategy from positioning through to channel plan, budget, and testing framework
Take accountability for campaign performance across Meta, TikTok, and emerging channels
Diagnose problems early and adjust before they become issues
Brief paid media and creative teams clearly, so execution matches intent
Build audience and funnel models that move a release toward streams, tickets, or sales

You’ll likely have
Two or three years experience in music either as a manager, or marketing inside a label, agency, or similar, doing the work rather than managing from a distance
Strong performance marketing fundamentals: funnels, attribution, creative testing, budget pacing
A problem solver’s instinct and the communication skills to carry a client through both good and bad week
A real feel for music and the culture around it
