DAY-TO-DAY ARTIST MANAGER POSITION
BRIGHTON, UK

Salary: Competitive / Depending on Experience
Hybrid working with flexible hours, plus occasional travel to support artist
High level singer-songwriter seeking an experienced Brighton / London based Day to Day Manager to work alongside small existing team. The Day to Day Manager will be responsible for a broad range of tasks spanning across all areas of the music industry including:
ALBUM CAMPAIGNS:
· Working closely with label and wider teams worldwide
· Assisting with planning and executing global release roll outs
· Marketing input and execution
· Manage the artist’s online platforms including social media accounts, channels and website: taking care of all posting and re-skins
· Ability to put together engaging social media assets / posts, tour art and ads
· Compile and maintain all campaign assets for team circulation
· Draft and send mailers to large fanbase
· Planning and overseeing all promotional activities including booking and managing travel and logistics, liaising with crew and third parties
· Putting together itineraries and day sheets across all activities
· Accompany the artist on promo days, content / video shoots and events as needed
· Point of contact for all external teams including radio, press, label, accountant etc
· Schedule meetings (predominantly Zoom) between multiple parties in different time zones
· Assisting with budgets and financial administration (checking invoices and liaising with artist’s accountant)
· Liaison with wider recorded music teams including distributors, DSPs and D2C stores
· Manage D2C merchandise including design, production, shipping, inventory / stock management, liaising with fulfilment teams etc
· Coordinate CD and Vinyl signing days
· Efficient daily comms between all relevant parties
LIVE:
· Assist senior manager and agent on planning upcoming global touring
· Strategy and roll out across announce, pre-sales and general on sales
· Work with the senior manager, Tour Manager and Production Manager on all advance touring elements
· Global agent and promoter liaison
· Put together up-to-date technical and hospitality riders for circulation
· Apply for crew visas and advance / manage embassy appointments where necessary
· Work with travel agent on booking and managing all travel and hotels not covered by promoters
· Book all UK ground transport for artist and crew
· Inputting anything booked into Master Tour with efficient team comms
· Maintaining up-to-date and coherent databases of crew details (inc addresses, passports, frequent flyer numbers, previous visas etc)
· Handle all show guest lists
· On ground for key shows to be point of contact for any guests / VIPs
· Assisting with budgets
· Financial administration (checking invoices and liaising with the artist’s accountant)
· Assisting with reviewing settlements
· Managing touring merchandise including overseeing design, manufacturing, shipping, carnets, stock management, seller liaison, sales sheets, returns
· Responsible for live listings on the artist’s own website
· Multi-platform mailers promoting tours
RECORDING:
· Manage artist’s diary around recording projects
· Booking players
· Liaise with producer and players ahead of sessions
· Take care of all travel and logistics around sessions
· Have an eye on wider timeline for mastering and physical production holds
· Invoice management
CATALOGUE / LABEL MANAGEMENT:
· Ability to use excel to compile and maintain organised and coherent label copy
· Assisting with registering rights
· With a back catalogue spanning 16 albums there will be general housekeeping tasks across all platforms
GENERAL:
· Manage inboxes across all social media platforms, responding to fans where appropriate and flagging anything relevant
· Respond to fan queries sent to the general info email address
· Manage and moderate all fan groups
· Have an eye on super-serving the core fanbase across campaigns and live activity
· Social media strategy and implementation during quieter periods
· Input into aesthetic across all platforms, assets and products
· General back catalogue stock management, including running promotions and on occasion driving stock between artist’s studio and the fulfilment warehouse
· Point of contact for wider team including crew, PR, labels, publishers, lawyers, accountants and creative partners
· Coordinating with accountant across all areas of business
· Maintaining confidentiality and discretion at all times
PUBLISHING:
· Assisting communication across sync requests
BRAND / MUSICAL PROJECTS / OTHER:
· Assisting senior management across all other artist projects
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
· Minimum of 5 year’s experience supporting artists and teams in a similar role
· Experience releasing albums independently and via labels
· Broad understanding of the music industry
· Highly organised with meticulous attention to detail, proactiveness and consistent follow-through
· Creative and social media savvy
· Ability to create engaging social media assets including touring art and ads
· Confident with word, excel, budgets and label copy
· In addition to the usual hours, you might required to take calls, respond to emails, be at shows or accompany the artist outside of office hours therefore the ability to be flexible is needed
· Ability to work independently
· Ability to travel for promo and shoots, although the candidate won’t be required on tour outside of key shows
· Able to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously under pressure while maintaining accuracy
· Clear, concise and confident communicator
· Able to represent the client professionally, politely and calmly

We have built strong relationships with long-standing stakeholders across all activities and levels and would need someone to slot into this relationship-driven ethos.
