Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Music Marketing Manager to join our team at Connect Music. This role is ideal for someone who brings a strong background in e-commerce and digital music distribution, with proven experience working with digital service providers (DSPs) such as Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, and others.
This individual will play a key role in bridging the gap between our artists and digital platforms by driving performance, strengthening relationships, and delivering actionable insights that contribute to long-term success.

Key Responsibilities:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with major digital service providers (DSPs) to support artist growth and visibility
• Prepare and deliver artist business reviews, including performance analysis, growth trends, and strategic recommendations
• Develop and present campaign recaps that highlight wins, opportunities, and key learnings
• Analyze streaming and sales trends, and audience data to provide clear, actionable insights
• Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, creative, and distribution teams to execute successful release strategies
• Identify opportunities for artist exposure, DSP editorial support, and platform partnerships
• Stay up to date on industry trends, DSP updates, and emerging technologies
• Support onboarding of new artists by setting up digital strategies and expectations
• Help optimize release schedules, metadata, and content strategies across platforms
• Supporting campaign execution through administrative tasks such as DSP ad submissions, campaign setup, and asset coordination

Qualifications:
• 3+ years of experience in e-commerce, digital music distribution, or a related field
• Self-starter with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Proven experience working with or alongside digital service providers (DSPs)
• Strong understanding of the music industry, streaming ecosystem, and digital trends
• Experience leading end-to-end project execution from pitch through launch including cross-functional coordination
• Experience analyzing data and translating it into strategic insights
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Passion for music and a genuine interest in artist development

Preferred Qualifications:
• Established relationships and credibility with DSP representatives
• Demonstrated success launching artist-led content programs, exclusive releases, or platform-specific artist initiatives that generated significant engagement and revenue impact
• Proof of identifying and capitalizing on cultural trends to inform content strategy and drive business growth
• Experience with analytics tools such as Spotify for Artists, Apple Music for Artists, or similar platforms
• Background in artist management, label services, or music marketing
