MAJOR MANAGEMENT OPPORTUNITY

Modest! are seeking a passionate, confident and music-obsessed Artist Manager to join an exciting independent artist’s journey. This hands-on role offers real autonomy and ownership, with the opportunity to shape the early stages of an artist’s career. You will collaborate daily with the artist, as well as working closely with the Director and Managing Director.

The ideal candidate is deeply engaged with the indie music scene, experienced in developing independent artists without major label infrastructure, and comfortable managing self-released campaigns from start to finish — including DSP delivery, playlist pitching, release timelines, metadata, asset management, and digital audience growth. Strong knowledge of digital strategy, analytics, and grassroots fan-building platforms like Openstage is essential.

DUTIES
You will be involved in all aspects of the artist’s career, including:
· Day-to-day artist liaison, guidance and support
· Planning and coordinating release campaigns, with a strong focus on self-released music
· Working closely with the artist to help shape and execute creative direction across music, visuals, branding and content (videos, artwork, photography, styling)
· Managing schedules, deadlines and diary commitments
· Overseeing touring plans and liaising with agents, promoters and external partners
· Creating, managing and overseeing budgets across releases, marketing and touring
· Collaborating closely with marketing and wider management teams to drive growth and results

REQUIRED SKILLS
· Exceptional attention to detail and organisation
· Direct, hands-on experience working closely with artists, in particular developing, independent artists
· Strong creative instincts and an understanding of visual storytelling, branding and content
· A solid understanding of digital platforms, DSPs and social media strategy, particularly in the independent/self-release space
· Knowledge building fanbase platforms such as Openstage
· Confident communication skills and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders
· A sense of humour and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

QUALIFICATIONS
· Minimum of 3 years’ experience in artist management or equivalent artist-facing roles
· Proven experience working across at least two full artist campaigns, including meaningful music releases and touring
· Ability to demonstrate creative thinking, strategic planning and hands-on execution, with ideas and campaigns that have delivered tangible impact

JOB REQUIREMENTS
· Full-time, hybrid role: 3 days in the office, 2 remote
· Regular travel required, including occasional international travel
