Description

Salary:

$70,000 to $80,000 base + commission (uncapped).

Potential earnings $110-120,000++

Who are we:

Locomotive is a global live entertainment group; the creative force behind Bingo Loco, DayShift, Tipsy Rodeo, Electronic Orchestra, and a growing roster of new touring IPs.

From nostalgic party spectacles to immersive orchestral raves, we produce genre-defying live experiences that fuse music, theatre, and unfiltered energy; reaching hundreds of thousands of attendees each year across the U.S., Europe, and Australia.

Our mission: to reinvent what a night (or day) out can be.

Role Overview

Locomotive is building new touring models, venue partnerships, and live event concepts. We are looking for a commercially sharp Partnerships Manager to lead venue acquisition, negotiate deals, and play a central role in shaping how our tours and concepts come to life.

This is a senior, hands-on role for someone who already understands how venues, artists, and agents operate. You will own partnerships end to end, from first conversation through to deal close and delivery. You will be trusted to run negotiations, structure deals, and manage relationships with a high degree of autonomy.

This role is not a junior sales position. It is for someone who has booked shows, closed venue deals, or represented artists or venues and understands the realities of live events and entertainment.

Key ResponsibilitiesVenue and Partner Acquisition

Identify, approach, and onboard new venue partners aligned with Locomotives events, touring and concept strategy
Pitch Locomotive concepts to venue decision makers including talent buyers, programmers, agencies and commercial leads
Build a strong pipeline of prospective partners across key territories

Deal Negotiation and Commercial Ownership

Lead all commercial negotiations with venues and partners
Structure and close deals including guarantees, splits, buyouts, and multi-date agreements depending on the commercial proposition for each concept
Ensure deals are commercially sound and aligned with tour and concept objectives
Own the commercial relationship from initial negotiation through contract completion

Touring and Concept Development

Work closely with internal teams and artists on routing, scheduling, and feasibility of tours
Contribute commercially to the development of new touring and live event concepts
Identify opportunities to scale successful concepts across multiple venues or markets
Support delivery teams to ensure partnerships transition smoothly from deal to execution

Relationship Management

Build and maintain long-term relationships with venues, agents, and partners
Act as a primary point of contact for assigned venue and touring partners
Manage partner expectations and ensure clear communication at all stages

Process, Tracking, and Performance

Maintain accurate tracking of deal pipelines, negotiations, and closed partnerships
Monitor performance of venue partnerships and touring outcomes
Use data and commercial insight to refine pricing, deal structures, and partner strategy
Contribute to internal reporting and forecasting related to partnerships and touring

Experience and Background

Required Experience: 3 to 5+ years experience in live music or events
Proven background as a Talent Buyer, Venue Sales Manager, Promoter, or agency-side role
Demonstrable experience negotiating live event or touring deals
Strong understanding of venue economics, artist fees, and event P&Ls
Experience managing multiple deals and partnerships simultaneously

Skills and Attributes

Confident and credible in commercial negotiations
Highly organized with strong deal and pipeline management skills
Comfortable working autonomously and owning outcomes
Strong relationship builder with industry credibility
Commercially minded with a practical, solution-focused approach
Willingness to travel as required for venue meetings, showcases, and events (minimal)

Commission Structure

This role includes a commission component tied to:

Closed venue partnerships
Touring deals secured
Revenue performance of partnerships
Commission structure will be transparent and aligned to commercial outcomes, rewarding high performance and successful dealmaking.

Why This Role

Senior responsibility with real autonomy
Direct influence on how Locomotive tours and concepts are expanded
Opportunity to shape long-term venue partnerships rather than one-off deals
Competitive base salary plus meaningful commission upside
Clear path to expanded responsibility as the partnerships function grows
