Marketing, Promotions & DSP Relations Lead – Indie Record Label (Latin/Alternative)

Location: Remote (US-based preferred) Type: Full-Time

About Us

We are an independent record label and creative collective working with forward-thinking Latin, alternative, and cross-genre artists across the US, LATAM, and Europe. Our roster includes emerging and established acts with Grammy-nominated and Tiny Desk–featured projects. We develop artists through storytelling, digital strategy, creative campaigns, cross-platform promotions, DSP relationships, and live events.

Role Overview

The Marketing, Promotions & DSP Relations Lead will own the full marketing lifecycle of each release—from campaign strategy to DSP-facing communication, digital promotion, and performance analysis. You will be the bridge between creative storytelling, data-driven strategy, and platform partnerships.

Responsibilities
Campaign Strategy & Execution

• Build, manage, and oversee release campaigns (single/EP/album)
• Create campaign calendars, timelines, briefs, and rollouts
• Collaborate closely with A&R; artists, management, and creative teams

DSP Relations (Core Function)

• Serve as the day-to-day contact for DSPs

• Prepare and deliver pitch materials for editorial consideration

• Coordinate assets for Spotify Canvas, Apple Motion, YouTube Shorts, etc.

• Monitor playlist performance and follow-up communication

• Maintain platform relationships and identify new opportunities

Digital Marketing

• Build and manage social media and digital strategies

• Launch and optimize paid ads (Meta, TikTok, YouTube)

• Develop funnels, mailing lists, and CRM touchpoints

PR & Promotions

• Coordinate PR teams or build targeted press outreach

• Newsletter pitching, press lists, and story development

• Physical promotions and event activations

Content Coordination

• Manage photo/video/design workflows

• Maintain brand consistency

• Create content calendars

Analytics & Reporting

• Track KPIs and playlist data
• Build reports and insights decks
• Suggest optimizations for future releases

Qualifications

• 2+ years in music marketing, DSP strategy, or artist development

• Strong understanding of editorial pitching and DSP ecosystems

• Experience with digital ads and analytics tools

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
