Member & Partner Success Coordinator
Are you a digital music enthusiast with a passion for the independent music market? Do you understand the dynamics between digital services, labels, and distributors? Merlin is seeking an energetic, organised, and self-motivated coordinator to join our Member & Partner Success team in either Tokyo or Singapore.
The Opportunity
As a Member & Partner Success Coordinator, you will play a vital role in driving value for Merlin members (independent labels and distributors) across the APAC region. You will work closely with our global team in a fast-paced and collaborative environment to:
- Support the growth and success of our APAC members and partners.
- Organise and distribute important marketplace communications.
- Facilitate connectivity between members, partners, and Merlin.
- Assist with the identification and onboarding of new member companies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to leverage partner opportunities.
- Track progress and ensure effective communication regarding member rights and delivery obligations.
- Participate in meetings with members and partners to understand their needs and contribute to the development of valuable tools and processes.
- Manage team inboxes and provide timely and accurate responses.
- Support team management through documentation, presentations, and internal/external communications.
What You’ll Need
- Business-level fluency in English and at least one other relevant APAC language (Japanese, Korean, or Chinese).
- Minimum 2 years’ experience within the music industry (labels, distributors, artist services, or digital music companies).
- Working knowledge of the independent music landscape in the APAC region.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on commercial awareness and confidentiality.
- Confidence in contributing to discussions with digital partners and Merlin members.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with diverse clients.
- A proactive and collaborative team player mentality.
Bonus Points
- Previous experience with digital partner opportunities for labels and distributors.
- Familiarity with the Merlin member dashboard and backend.
- Proficiency in relevant computer applications (Excel, Airtable, Google Suite, Freshdesk, WebinarJam, CRM systems).
