Must have experience in music publishing or with a performing rights society, ideally in a Royalty/Finance Accounting capacity with a track-record of providing excellent customer service and can demonstrate an understanding of collection societies and music publishing on a global scale.
Must have previous relevant music administration and/or music publishing experience as well as a strong interest in emerging industry trends, services, and technologies
Required: mid to senior level experience, working creatively in the synch business with well-developed relationships with in depth knowledge of music licensing and industry terminology used to negotiate the material deal points of a brand and synch license as well as Copyright knowledge
Required: experience in a client-facing, account management role in the music industry where you have developed an understanding of music publishing, music copyright, performing rights organizations (PROs), digital service providers (DSPs), and royalty flow in the music industry
Must demonstrate organization and prioritization skills as well as excellent communication skills as the duties require a very high level of communication with a wide range of stakeholders.
Required: expert end-to-end understanding of the role of a music publisher, key contractual terminology and the rights flow of copyright chain of title, licenses, and royalties.
Must have strong proficiency in computer software applications including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Mailer lite, Excel, G-suite, iTunes as well as emailing marketing tools.
The ideal candidate is tech-savvy, analytical & will have experience working with Excel crunching numbers or working with large data sets, along with a solid understanding of music copyright and publishing operational processes
