The vocals of late superstar Whitney Houston will fill concert halls across seven US cities this fall, thanks to a collaboration with US and Brazil-based music creation platform Moises, Primary Wave Music, and Park Avenue Artists.
The Estate of Whitney E. Houston has partnered with these companies for the return of The Voice of Whitney: A Symphonic Celebration, a concert experience that features Houston’s vocals with live orchestral performances.
The tour, which launched in August 2024, will continue with the artist’s extracted vocals and rare video performance footage.
Moises provided the stem separation technology to make the concert tour possible, according to a press release.
Many of Houston’s original multitrack recordings, including the vocals, drums, and keys, have been lost.
Without access to clean vocal tracks, the project seemed impossible until Park Avenue Artists reached out to Moises, whose stem separation technology can isolate elements from fully mixed songs.
Moises CEO Geraldo Ramos said: “This project demanded exceptionally high-caliber stem separation, something Moises leads the industry in achieving.”
“We had to isolate Whitney’s vocals from fully mixed recordings without compromising the emotional power of her performance.”

“We had to isolate Whitney’s vocals from fully mixed recordings without compromising the emotional power of her performance. A concert like this simply wouldn’t have been possible five years ago, before stem separation technology reached the precision and fidelity we’re now able to deliver.”
Music AI-owned Moises says its algorithms can achieve near-studio quality results. The company claims to process 2.5 million minutes of audio daily and has developed 45 proprietary AI models. The Moises platform now serves 65 million users across 33 languages.
Houston’s seven-city tour includes Cincinnati Music Hall, where the Cincinnati Pops Orchestra will perform on September 20-21. The remaining tour dates include stops in Wilmington, North Carolina; Thousand Oaks, California; Carmel, Indiana; Waukegan, Illinois; Palm Desert, California; concluding with a show in Mesa, Arizona on November 22. Tickets are available through Bandsintown.
“We knew this had to be done right. Moises and our partner Park Avenue Artists elevated the idea with the heart, care, and creative excellence that Whitney always embodied.”

Pat Houston, Executor of The Estate of Whitney E. Houston, said: “We knew this had to be done right. Moises and our partner Park Avenue Artists elevated the idea with the heart, care, and creative excellence that Whitney always embodied. The result is something truly special: a gift for longtime fans and a powerful introduction for a new generation discovering her voice.”
Ross Michaels, co-president of Park Avenue Artists, described the concert as “the first of several planned collaborations that will use AI to illuminate new dimensions of an artist’s work.”
Added Michaels: “This project demonstrates how legacy artists and their estates can create meaningful experiences for music lovers through the thoughtful use of AI technology… It’s a powerful example of how AI can honor artists’ legacies while enriching the audience experience in beautiful and respectful ways.”

For Music AI, which owns Moises, the development follows the recent launch of AI Studio, a browser-based AI tool. Moises says AI Studio aims to “empower — not replace — artists.” In 2023, Moises unveiled an AI-powered Voice Studio that allows vocalists to license their own voices and sell them to producers and content creators.
Music AI raised USD $40 million in a Series A funding round earlier this year. The round was led by Connect Ventures – an investment partnership between entertainment and sports agency CAA and venture capital firm New Enterprise Associates (NEA) – along with Brazilian investor monashees.
