Warner’s ADA appoints new Head of Marketing & Services and First-Ever Head of Product & Integration

Andrea Slobodien and Sam Juneman

Sam Juneman has joined ADA Worldwide, Warner Music Group’s label and artist services arm, as Head of Marketing & Services.

Meanwhile, Andrea Slobodien has been named as ADA’s first-ever Head of Product & Integration.

By instating marketing and tech product leads, says ADA Worldwide, these final additions to its “reimagined” leadership structure represents a “turbocharging” of its offering.

Both Juneman and Slobodien will be based on the West Coast, and report directly to ADA’s President, Cat Kreidich.

The news follows the recent appointment of Marcus Siskind to Head of US, overseeing business development and label management, and Adriana Sein to Head of International, focused on ADA’s global business.

They both report directly to ADA’s President, Cat Kreidich, who was promoted to the role in April, succeeding Eliah Seton, who has since joined SoundCloud as its new President.

As the Head of Marketing & Services, Juneman leads ADA’s artist services, marketing, and commercial teams.

In this role, she’ll lead the company’s holistic marketing efforts, from audience development to commercial strategy, as well as catalog optimization.

Juneman will work closely with Siskind to develop label and artist businesses in the US, and with Sein to scale services and support global repertoire growth.

She’ll also collaborate with WMX, Warner Music Group’s artist services division, to expand client service offerings.

Slobodien, meanwhile, is responsible for translating ADA’s strategy into a broader product and technology vision.

This includes developing third party label and artist services tech, while advancing operations functionality and synergy within the wider Warner Music ecosystem, says the company.

Juneman joins ADA after almost a decade at Universal Music Group, working in marketing, content, and commercial partnerships for artists including Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber, and Big Sean.

She most recently served as Vice President of Music Strategy & Tactics.

Before joining ADA, Slobodien spent almost 10 years in product management and innovation leadership roles across a variety of companies in the music and gaming industries.

She most recently served as the Head of Product for ProGuides and as the Product Innovation Lead for DistroKid, where she built products like Upstream, Twitch integrations, and instant mastering tools.

Slobodien began her career as the first Product hire at 8tracks, where she ran product management, including web and app redesigns, direct sale ads and subscriptions, data analytics tools and recommenders, and licensing.

Lastly, Ty Teixeira has also joined ADA from DistroKid as Vice President of Operations, reporting to Slobodien.
