Warner to premiere Latin Music TV series ‘Melody’ on Prime Video

A new musical series starring Warner Music Latina artists Yas Gagliardi and Sarah Lenore will premiere on Prime Video in the US and Latin America on February 22.

The series is being produced by Warner Music Entertainment (WME), Warner Chappell Music (WCM), Warner Music Latina (WML) and Trinity Entertainment, a content production company for television and cinema.

Melody marks WME’s first Spanish-language TV series. It will feature original music created and produced by WCM music producer Jose Luis Pagan, whose work has been nominated and awarded for multiple Grammys and Latin Grammys.

Pagan has worked with the likes of Chayanne, Marc Anthony, Jennifer Lopez, Il Volo, Thalia, Alejandra Guzman, Diego Torres, and Gigi D’Alessio. He will serve as the showrunner of Melody.

“We’ve loved Melody from the moment Jose Luis first brought it to the table. It’s a refreshing and heartwarming story where Yas and Sarah, along with the rest of the cast, will connect with the audience through their voices and memorable songs,” said Alejandro Duque, president of Warner Music Latin America.

The series will feature original songs performed by Gagliardi, Lenore and the supporting cast. Warner Music Latina will release and promote the original tracks.

Shot in both Miami and Buenos Aires, Melody is a coming-of-age series inspired by Gagliardi and Lenore’s real-life stories as emerging recording artists.

Melody is a compelling, family-friendly, musically driven series that taps into the explosive Spanish language market, while transcending cultures with its universal messages.”
