Warner Music launches Atlantic Records Benelux

Warner Music is launching Atlantic Records Benelux, which the company says will be dedicated to discovering and promoting emerging domestic hip-hop artists from across the Benelux region.

Atlantic Records Benelux will be led by Sander Stijnen as Head of A&R, and Ixia Verdooren as Head of Domestic Marketing.

The duo will remain in their existing roles at ADA and Warner Music Benelux respectively, and continue to report to President of Warner Music Benelux, Martin Jessurun.

The announcement follows the launch of Atlantic Records Russia in March.

Warner Music also acquired indie label Zhara in the same month.

The new label in the Benelkux region marks its launch with the signing of Dutch artist DJ DYLVN, who released his solo debut EP Chase in 2018.

Atlantic Records Benelux will be releasing DJ DYLVN’s new singles in the coming months, with FASHIONOVA, featuring BKO and Defano Holwijn, released today (November 4).

Since beginning his tenure as Head of ADA Benelux in March 2020, Stijnen has inked deals with the likes of Big Top Amsterdam, Absolute P, BMKLTSCH RCRDS, Mattan Records and Disruptive Records.
