Vivendi expands ticketing operation in Europe and the US with LiveStyle deal

Vivendi has acquired Amsterdam-based ticketing and technology company Paylogic from LiveStyle.

Paylogic, which sells over 5 million tickets a year in more than 10 countries, will join Vivendi’s international ticketing services arm, See Tickets.

The acquisition expands See Tickets’ businesses to the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany, joining presence in the UK, France and Spain.

At the same time, See Tickets has entered into a long-term commercial agreement with LiveStyle and its subsidiaries to sell tickets for its US festivals and events.

As a result of the deal, See Tickets expects its entire operation to sell more than 20 million tickets a year for music, sporting and cultural events, with ‘thousands of clients in over 30 countries’.

LiveStyle — which rebranded from SFX in 2016 after emerging from bankruptcy — promotes electronic music festivals including Electric Zoo New York, Ultimate Music Experience and Sunset Music Festival (pictured).

Founded in 2005 in the Netherlands, Paylogic has developed digital ticketing environments for clients including live entertainment brands, Tomorrowland, ID&T, ADE, and Awakenings.

“The Paylogic acquisition is a clear statement of our intention to grow our activities in Europe and the US.”
