UTA signs long-term lease for new Nashville HQ

Talent and entertainment company UTA has signed a long-term lease for a new Nashville headquarters.

The office will be moving into a historic, three-story building at 225 Polk Avenue, with the Nashville team planning to move in within the first quarter of 2020 following construction.

Since opening in 2012, UTA’s Nashville office has grown to nearly 20 times its original size and has promoted 10 employees in the past two years alone.

The group represents touring headliners including Toby Keith, Clint Black, Trace Adkins, Craig Morgan and Clay Walker and has developed the careers of a diverse roster of clients including Blanco Brown, High Valley, Jimmie Allen, Matt Stell, King Calaway and Logan Mize.

“We are excited for our new space to serve as a great resource for the creative community and are committed to building our presence in Music City.”

The new space, which is located at the original site of the Carnegie Library, features ‘a contemporary aesthetic’ across three floors and includes an employee café lounge, a wellness room, outdoor terraces, and views of Nashville’s state capitol.

The building will also include a performance space.

UTA will incorporate some library memorabilia into the design, including an old book drop on the parking level of the property. Hastings Architecture are the architects on the project.

“Nashville is a powerful creative hub, built on storytelling and compelling live entertainment,” said UTA CEO Jeremy Zimmer.

“We are excited for our new space to serve as a great resource for the creative community and are committed to building our presence in Music City.”

UTA was represented in the deal by Mitchell Konsker, Ben Bass and Tom Hooper of Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL).Music Business Worldwide
