Universal Music Publishing promotes Lamberg, names new global board

The board of Universal Music Group Publishing (UMPG) on earth has been revealed via a new update at the top of the company.

Universal Music Group (UMG) has promoted Evan Lamberg to President of Universal Music Publishing Group (UMPG), North America. He will jointly report to Zach Horowitz, UMG President & COO and Lucian Grainge, UMG Chairman & CEO.

As a result, UMPG has created a global board includes Mr. Lamberg, Paul Connolly (President, UK and Europe), Eddie Fernandez (Senior Vice President, Latin America), Andrew Jenkins (Executive Vice President, Asia Pacific Region/Industry Affairs), Gary Gross (Worldwide President, Universal Publishing Production Music), and Michael J. Sammis (Executive Vice President – Operations & Chief Financial Officer Worldwide).

Formerly, Mr. Lamberg served as Executive Vice President of Creative for UMPG, East Coast. In his new role, he will oversee North American operations, including its Pop, Urban, Country, Latin, Christian/Gospel and Canadian divisions – based at UMPG’s world-wide headquarters in Santa Monica, California.
