UnitedMasters launches ‘Cash for Change’ grant program to showcase artists advocating for social justice

UnitedMasters has partnered with Cash App to launch a new grant program called “Cash for Change”, to highlight songs by artists that address today’s social and political climate.

Starting June 29, UnitedMasters and Cash App will be giving away $4,000 a day to artists for 25 days, a total of $100,000, to those who are making the best protest music.

Each day, a winner will be announced via social media with $2,000 going toward the winner and an additional $2,000 going to a social justice organization of the artist’s choosing.

Artists can submit their song through the UnitedMasters app with winners selected by the UM A&R team.vWinners will be announced daily through UnitedMasters social channels.

A “Cash for Change” playlist will be created and shared via social platforms at the end of the contest.
