The UK’s Music Managers Forum (MMF) has elected Jill Hollywood (Echo Beach Management), Merck Mercuriadis (Hipgnosis Songs Ltd), Rebekah Tayler (ie: music), Sammy Andrews (Deviate Digital) and Liza Buddy (Chaos & Bedlam Management) as board members.
The appointments were revealed yesterday (July 11) at the organization’s AGM.
Departing as board members in 2019 are: Andy Edwards, Claire Southwick (Primitive Management), Diane Wagg (Deluxxe Management), Stephen Budd (Stephen Budd Management) and Tom Burris (ie:music).
Paul Craig (Nostromo Management) and Kwame Kwaten (Ferocious Management) will continue, respectively, as the MMF’s Chair and Vice-Chair. Charlie Carne remains as CFO.
All new board members will serve a fixed three-year term.

Jill Hollywood is the founder of Echo Beach Management, where she oversees the careers of award-winning producers and engineers including Jacknife Lee (U2, The Killers, R.E.M.), Cam Blackwood (George Ezra, Catfish & The Bottlemen), Ash Howes (One Direction, Dido, Jack Savoretti) and Dave Bascombe (Depeche Mode, Erasure).
Merck Mercuriadis is the founder of Hipgnosis Songs Fund Limited, a publicly-traded music IP investment company, and the founder and CEO of Hipgnosis Songs Limited, the investment advisor to the fund. He has managed artists including Nile Rodgers, Beyoncé, Elton John, Guns N’ Roses, Iron Maiden, Morrissey, Pet Shop Boys, Macy Gray, Mary J. Blige, Joss Stone, Jane’s Addiction and Catherine Wheel.
Rebekah Tayler (ie:music) has worked extensively on the global success of Passenger – helping oversee the release of 7 albums in 7 years, including 3 self-released albums where all marketing and distribution was undertaken in-house. One of these self-released albums achieved a Top 5 placing in the UK Album Chart.
Sammy Andrews is CEO of acclaimed digital marketing agency, Deviate Digital, and manager of Goldkey (featuring former members of Gallows, Sikth and Spycatcher). She is also a leading industry campaigner as founder of Let’s Be The Change and Music4EU, as well as a hugely respected public speaker and Music Week columnist.
Liza Buddy is a funding and investment specialist, who has advised and overseen successful applications for a variety of managers, labels and artists – securing grants from PRS Foundation’s Momentum and International Showcase Fund, as well as Arts Council England. She manages upcoming artists TOVA and Killjoys through her company Chaos & Bedlam.
