Deezer has added UK-based artists Aitch, L Devine and Easy Life to the Deezer NEXT program.

Deezer’s annual artist development initiative NEXT launched in 2017 and provides artists with 12 months of dedicated support from its Artist Marketing and Editorial teams.

This includes playlisting and creative marketing campaigns involving special content, fan events and social media amplification.

A new addition this year is the dedicated Deezer NEXT Channel featuring exclusive content from the NEXT artists including live sessions and curated playlists.

The latest UK NEXT artist lineup joins Jade Bird and Hamzaa as UK picks for 2019.

According to Deezer, January’s global pick Lewis Capaldi has also seen a boom of 854% in fans / 244% in monthly streams on Deezer since the start of the program, while Sam Fender experienced a 225% in fans / 424% increase in monthly streams.

The UK Next acts include L Devine, is a rising star from Whitley Bay, who has released two EPs, Peer Pressure and Growing Pains.

Manchester rapper Aitch has had a Top 10 single with Taste (Make It Shake) and features on some of 2019’s biggest UK rap hits.

Leicester five-piece Easy Life’s music spans hip-hop, R&B and electronic with pop hooks, as showcased in their first two singles, Spaceships and Creature Habits.
