On December 16, the seventh night of Hanukkah, UJA Federation New York will be hosting its own RWQuarantunes holiday event featuring surprise celebrity guests and hitmakers.
The online event, which will benefit UJA’s Covid relief, will also be honoring entertainment lawyer Doug Davis with the Music Visionary Award and Richard and Demi Weitz with the Philanthropy Impact Award.
WME partner Richard Weitz and his daughter Demi have been hosting the virtual RWQuarantunes benefit events on Zoom for clients, friends, family and colleagues in the entertainment business over the past several months during the COVID pandemic.
Stars such as John Legend; Sting; Lin-Manuel Miranda with the cast of Hamilton; Earth, Wind & Fire; Macy Gray; Ziggy Marley; Josh Groban and many others have participated in the popular series.

Doug Davis, who will be honoured on the night with the Music Visionary Award, is the founder of entertainment law firm The Davis Firm. He’s also a Grammy-winning record producer, co-founder of DJDTP, a custom music production company founded with industry veteran Ali Dee.
RWQuarantunes founders Richard Weitz and his 17-year-old daughter Demi are behind the successful fundraising events which have raised over $13 million during the Covid pandemic.
Weitz is a partner and senior leader at William Morris Endeavor (WME). His clients include the likes of Tina Fey, Robert Carlock, Nahnatchka Khan, Ricky Gervais, Steve Molaro, Jake Kasdan, David Nutter, and Shawn Levy.
