Tra’Von Williams has joined Encore Recordings as its Vice President and Head of Streaming.

The label was launched in November 2021 by music industry veteran Joie Manda.

Before joining Encore, Williams most recently served as Director of Hip Hop and R&B Streaming at Epic Records, where he worked with artists including 21 Savage, French Montana, BEAM, and Young T & Bugsey.

Before Epic Records, Williams was Director of Streaming for Atlanta-based record label Since The 80s.

Williams will report to Ned Monahan, who was named Encore’s General Manager in November and previously served as Head of Global Hits at Spotify since 2019.

Encore’s first release, HOME by Mike Dimes’ project IN DIMES WE TRUST, reached peak positions of No.18 on Spotify’s Viral 50 and No.90 on Spotify’s US Top songs chart, says Encore.

On Apple Music, the single reached No.93 on its Top 100: USA chart, while the album rose to No.51 on Apple Music’s Overall Albums chart and has amassed over 50 million streams to date on Spotify, says Encore.

In January 2022, Encore also added two names to its team in Mimi Camara and Tawny Thompson.

Camara serves as Senior Vice President of Business & Legal Affairs, while Thompson joined the company as Controller and Vice President of Finance.
