After debuting its product in the US this past fall, Tiny Vinyl is taking its miniature collectible vinyl records to the European market this year.
To make the expansion a reality, the company has appointed Ruben Planting to head up its European expansion. A veteran of record labels, vinyl manufacturers and music promotion, Planting has held leadership roles at Deepgrooves Vinyl Pressing, Making Vinyl, Music Declares Emergency Netherlands, Four Framed, and others.
On social media, Planting describes himself as a strategic consultant for music industry manufacturers.
“Ruben brings a wealth of experience in international music distribution and revenue growth strategies and is uniquely positioned to connect US innovation and European retail,” Tiny Vinyl founders Neil Kohler and Jesse Mann said in a joint statement.
“By connecting with the resurgent European vinyl market, he will continue our success abroad with dedicated partnerships with retailers and bespoke editions for artist fan clubs, gifting, and tours.”

Tiny Vinyls are four-inch vinyl records designed as collectibles and available now in the US via partnerships with Target and other retailers, or through partner artists’ direct-to-consumer channels. Each side can hold up to four minutes of music.
The records are designed as collectibles and aren’t intended to compete with other music formats, the company explains. Each Tiny Vinyl record is uniquely numbered and is part of a limited release.
Artists whose music has appeared on Tiny Vinyl include Chappell Roan, Rihanna, Ariana Grande, Gracie Abrams, Tate McRae, Olivia Rodrigo, Doechii, Doja Cat, Noah Kahan, KATSEYE, Lola Young, Frank Sinatra, Lainey Wilson, Kacey Musgraves, Bruno Mars, Britney Spears, The Rolling Stones, Black Sabbath, and Mötley Crüe.
Chappell Roan’s Tiny Vinyl is expected to be available in Europe in early 2026. The company hasn’t offered details on further releases.
Kohler and Mann say they saw an opportunity in bringing together two consumer trends: The resurgence of vinyl and the growing popularity of miniature collectibles.
They developed the product through a partnership with Nashville Record Pressing, a prominent vinyl record maker and subsidiary of GZ Media, the world’s largest vinyl record manufacturer.
After releasing a handful of Tiny Vinyls of Nashville artists, the entrepreneurs realized they “had a product with mass appeal,” the company said.
Tiny Vinyls come amidst continued growth in vinyl record sales.
According to market research firm Luminate, 47.9 million vinyl records were sold in the US in 2025, up 8.6% year over year. It marked the 19th year in a row that vinyl sales grew in the US.Music Business Worldwide
