According to TikTok, since its global rollout, Add to Music App has “become a core part of TikTok’s music ecosystem.”
The platform claims further that “by capturing user intent at the moment of discovery, TikTok is extending the lifecycle of releases, accelerating fan acquisition, and delivering measurable, scalable value for artists and the wider music industry.”
‘Add to Music App’ appears as an ‘Add Song’ button next to a track name at the bottom of a TikTok video in the For You feed.
The latest figure covers the period between April 2025 and April 2026.
TikTok said those 6 billion track saves translated to “many, many billions more streams in repeat listening” on platforms like Spotify, Apple Music and Amazon Music.
Commenting on the latest development with the Add to Music App feature, Tracy Gardner, Global Head of Music Business Development, TikTok, said:“TikTok is the starting point for music discovery on a global scale, and Add to Music App is turning that discovery into measurable impact for the industry.”
