Three Six Zero grows Hollywood reputation with Brian Young hire

Three Six Zero, the UK-born talent management company, is continuing to make waves in Hollywood.

The company, which manages the likes of Frank Ocean, Deadmau5 and Calvin Harris, launches a TV and movie division in late 2014 – Three Six Zero Entertainment – bolstered by the hire of talent agent David Unger.

Since then, it’s added the likes of British actor Ray Winstone to its books.

This month, Three Six Zero’s expansion outside of music continued apace with the news that Brian Young has joined the company – who is expected to take all his clients with him.

Young started ArtForm in 2014, a boutique management and production firm which specialised in movie-credited clients including Bret Easton Ellis (American Psycho), Nicholas Jarecki (Arbitrage), Richard Kelly (Donnie Darko), Gregg Araki (Mysterious Skin), Dana Adam Shapiro (Murderball) and Rex Pickett (Sideways) – in addition to director/writer/actor Brady Corbet, actor Dylan Haggerty and director Ace Norton.

Young also counts some clients in the music world, including Alex Ebert of Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros and Conor Oberst of Bright Eyes.

“I can’t think of a more forward-thinking management company than three six zero.”

“They are operating ahead of the curve and understand that branding and not just content is king in this new world. Three Six Zero simply means that we will be representing artists across the full spectrum of media, thinking bigger and beyond”.

Three Six Zero Entertainment Co-CEO David Unger said: “Brian brings invaluable experience working with cutting edge writers, actors and directors who complement the brand of Three Six Zero.  We look forward to working closely with him and his clients.”
