The Orchard appoints Mona Fimreite International Sales And Marketing Director for Europe

The Orchard has appointed Mona Fimreite as International Sales And Marketing Director, Europe.

Fimreite joins from Oslo-headquartered distributor Phonofile, which was bought by The Orchard last year, where she led marketing efforts.

In her new role, Fimreite will work with European sales and marketing teams to drive key releases and ensure collaboration across the company’s 10 marketing offices in the region.

Fimreite is a nine-year veteran of the international music business, having worked in both the major and independent sectors, with a broad background in software development and computer science.

After five years working in digital marketing and e-commerce, she joined Sony Music Norway where she was involved in the launch of global playlist engine brand Filtr.

While there, Fimreite worked on local marketing campaigns for artists such as Foo Fighters, Michael Jackson, Beyonce, Justin Timberlake and One Direction.

After joining Phonofile in 2013, she developed the company’s internal and external marketing and analytics toolset.
