Talenthouse acquires creative freelancer platform Creative Commission

Talenthouse has acquired the music industry creative hiring platform Creative Commission.

Creative Commission specializes in connecting freelance visual creators with the music industry.

Talenthouse AG, which is publicly listed in Switzerland, produces digital content for companies including Netflix and Snap.

The deal was agreed for an undisclosed sum.

Talenthouse says that Creative Commission has facilitated over $12 million in work to creatives since its inception in 2013.

Creative Commission, co-founded by Brian Mahoney, Nick Clark and Matt Proud, is now bringing its clients over 800 job-opportunities per year, it says.

Clients of the London-headquartered Creative Commission include Warner Music, UMG, Sony Music, Columbia Music, Interscope Records, Atlantic Records and Virgin Records.

In the past, artists and bands such as The Rolling Stones, Ed Sheeran, Dua Lipa, Elton John and Robbie Williams have commissioned content through Creative Commission, says the company.

This includes album campaigns and tours, animations, album artwork and social assets.
