Midem is an annual music industry event and conference held in Cannes, France and owned by Reed Midem.
Originally held in 1967, Midem attracts thousands of attendees from sectors including records, publishing, artist management, production, and performers themselves.
According to Reed Midem, the 2018 attendance of Midem was up 9% year-on-year to 4,800.
That was a rise of 400 ticketholders on both 2017 and 2016’s events – though it was down by around 700 on the number of attendees (5,500) who came in 2015.
