Sylvain Gazaignes promoted to General Manager of BMG France

BMG has promoted Sylvain Gazaignes to General Manager of its French operation with a brief to expand its recordings business.

Gazaignes first joined BMG France in 2011 as A&R Manager.

He succeeds Stéphane Berlow, who has left the company.

While at BMG, he has signed successful clients including Nekfeu/1995 and hip-hop duo Bigflo & Oli and has been responsible for the development of artists and songwriters across all genres.

In his new role, he will lead a newly structured team of over 30 based in Paris and report to Dominique Casimir, EVP Continental Europe Repertoire & Marketing.
