Mosaert, the independent label and publishing company founded by Belgian artist Stromae, has renewed its worldwide administration deal with Warner Chappell Music (WCM).

The renewed agreement keeps WCM as the global representative for Stromae‘s catalog, which includes his studio albums CheeseRacine carrée, and Multitude, and Diamond-certified hits like Alors on Danse and Papaoutai. The deal was led by WCM France.

Under the original 2022 agreement, Warner Chappell represented Stromae’s writer’s shares outside Belgium.

The timing comes as Stromae’s catalog continues to reach global audiences. Last year, Alors on Danse reached 21x Diamond certification under France’s SNEP export program, bringing Stromae’s total SNEP export certifications to 49.

His 2024 hit Ma Meilleure Ennemie set a Spotify record for the most-streamed Francophone song within its first 24 hours of release. In 2023, he secured a double win at Les Victoires de la Musique awards, taking both Male Artist of the Year and Album of the Year for Multitude.

“Warner Chappell Music France and myself are proud to continue our partnership with the Mosaert Label, a renewal that reaffirms our commitment to supporting Stromae.”

Mosaert was founded in 2009 by Stromae, born Paul Van Haver, alongside his wife and creative director Coralie Barbier, and his brother Luc Van Haver, who serves as executive creative director. The name is an anagram of Stromae. Mosaert oversees all aspects of Stromae’s work from songwriting, production, visual direction, stage design, and costumes.

Mosaert has since directed videos for international artists such as Billie Eilish, Dua Lipa and Orelsan, and operates its own fashion line built around sustainable fabrics.

“This renewal allows us to keep exploring new creative territory with the same independence and ambition that we’ve always had.”
