Steve Oberman named Executive Vice President and Head of Music at See Tickets North America

See Tickets North America has made a series of executive promotions.

Steve Oberman has been promoted to Executive Vice President and Head of Music.

He will lead all music related business development and client acquisition efforts in North America, and be responsible for sustaining long term revenue growth.

Previously, Oberman served as See Tickets’ Vice President of Business Development.

Additionally, Daniel Spicka has been upped to Executive Vice President of Venue Partnerships, from Vice President of Business Development, while Phil Lawrence has been promoted to Vice President of Festival Partnerships, previously Senior Manager of Strategy and Partnerships.

Both Spicka and Lawrence will continue to facilitate See Tickets’ ongoing development and growth across the live entertainment sector, says the company.

Alongside these promotions, See Tickets has hired two new Account Managers in Steo Britton, based in Nashville, and Allison Leidy, based in Los Angeles.

This reorganization and staff expansion follows a year of growth for See Tickets North America, it says, adding more than 150 independent venues to its roster.

See Tickets already works with around 10,000 promoters, festivals, performance venues, sporting events and monuments including Glastonbury Festival, the Château de Versailles, L’Olympia in Paris, Garorock, Tomorrowland, White Oak Music Hall, Electric Zoo Festival, Los Angeles Pride Festival and The Queen Mary.

Vivendi acquired See Tickets for a purchase price of approximately €96 million in September 2011.

“The trust and respect [Steve] has earned in the music space will continue to serve him well in his new role.”

Boris Patronoff, CEO of See Tickets North America, said: “Steve has been one of the key drivers of See Tickets becoming the most prolific and experienced ticketing partner to independent music festivals and venues in the country.

“The trust and respect that he has earned in the music space will continue to serve him well in his new role.”

“This team is the best in the business.”
