Steeve Führ named CFO at Amuse

Amuse, a Swedish-based distributor and record label co-founded by ex-Warner Music Group executive Diego Farias, has appointed Steeve Führ as chief financial officer.

Führ joins Amuse after six years as CFO at employee benefits platform Benify, where he helped guide the company through international expansion before its sale to private equity firm Apax Partners and Zellis Group.

Führ’s background spans technology and finance. Before Benify, he served as CFO at streaming technology company Edgeware and held senior finance roles at Apple Nordics.

Giorgio D’Ambrosio, Interim CEO at Amuse, said: “We are thrilled to have Steeve step into the CFO role at such a pivotal moment for Amuse.”

Führ’s appointment comes as Amuse rolled out a new set of self-service digital distribution plans to support creatives at every stage of their career.

In September 2024, the company set up a new sync department led by Daniel Copleston. Also last year, the company launched a ‘Stream Check’ feature to let artists know if their music is being used in streaming fraud.

“Amuse has clearly proven its business model, and with the independent segment stronger than ever, the company is entering a very exciting scale-up phase.”

The company distributed tracks that generated 17.5 billion streams in 2024 across platforms including Spotify, Apple Music and YouTube Music. More than 500,000 artists now use its self-service distribution platform, the company said.

Amuse operates a two-tier model providing an open platform and a premium Artist Services. Führ said: “Amuse has clearly proven its business model, and with the independent segment stronger than ever, the company is entering a very exciting scale-up phase.”

“There is a solid foundation to build on, with significant opportunities to drive long-term, sustainable international growth. This is exactly the kind of stage I find most inspiring, and I am very much looking forward to being part of this journey.”
