Fitness tech company Peloton has entered a global partnership with Spotify to make its fitness and wellness classes available to Spotify Premium subscribers.
The partnership brings more than 1,400 Peloton classes — spanning Strength, Pilates, Barre, Yoga, Stretching, Meditation, Floor Cardio, and Outdoor running and walking — to Spotify Premium subscribers in most countries where Spotify is available.
The classes are available in English, Spanish, and German, led by Peloton instructors including Ben Alldis, Ally Love, Joslyn Thompson Rule, and Jermaine Johnson. Peloton said new classes from “the diverse group of instructors and modalities” will be added to the experience regularly.
The Peloton tie-up extends Spotify’s push beyond music into adjacent audio and video verticals. Since launching in 2008, the company has expanded aggressively into podcasting, audiobooks and, more recently, video.
Spotify expanded audiobook streaming into five additional European markets last November, including Sweden, and in December launched music videos in beta for Premium users in the US and Canada.
For Peloton, founded in 2012, the agreement dramatically broadens the reach of its fitness content beyond its existing markets, which include the US, UK, Canada, Germany, Australia and Austria.
The partnership also gives Peloton access to Spotify’s much larger subscriber base. Spotify ended Q4 2025 with 290 million Premium subscribers globally and forecast 293 million by the end of Q1 2026.
Peloton said the move represents “a significant leap in Peloton’s international exposure” and described the partnership as “instantly activating a global footprint that makes the magic of Peloton accessible to Spotify Premium subscribers anywhere.”
The partnership also carries an executive-level historical connection: Barry McCarthy, who served as Peloton’s CEO from February 2022 until his departure in May 2024, previously spent several years as CFO of Spotify.
“With this partnership, we are instantly activating a global footprint that makes the magic of Peloton accessible to Spotify Premium subscribers anywhere.”

“We’ve always believed that the best workout is the one you actually do, which is why accessing world-class fitness content should be as easy as tuning into your favorite Spotify playlist,” said Dion Camp Sanders, Peloton’s Chief Commercial Officer.

Roman Wasenmüller, VP, Global Head of Podcasts at Spotify, said: “For nearly two decades, Spotify has been the soundtrack to the world’s workouts. But listening was only the beginning. Today, we are expanding Spotify to become a true daily wellness companion.”
“By bringing Peloton directly into our video and audio ecosystem, we are investing in a future where Spotify isn’t just where you spend your time — it’s where you go to build momentum.”
