Spotify launches native iPad app

Spotify has launched a new app specifically designed to improve the user experience on Apple‘s iPad.

The compay says the new product will improve the design of the platform on iPad, and help consumers save, organise and browse music on the Apple tablet.

The new design is based on a ‘dark theme and refined interface which Spotify claims makes its interface ‘pop’,

Spotify for iPad users can also save albums and build playlists more easily and view and view bigger resperentations of cover art.

“Your Music is the perfect iPad feature,” says Dave Price, Director of Product at Spotify. “In fact, our users have been telling us that the tablet is one of their favourite devices when it comes to browsing, curating and saving music.

“And with our new design, our iPad users can enjoy the best-looking experience of any music service – one that’s easy to use and consistent across all devices.”Music Business Worldwide
