Sony promotes Jenifer Mallory to SVP of International

Sony Music Entertainment has promoted Jenifer Mallory to Senior Vice President, International.

In this role, the exec will lead the development and execution of international marketing campaigns for artists signed to Sony Music in the US, and enhance the market presence of Sony Music’s US artists in other markets around the world.

Based in New York, Mallory (pictured) will oversee an international team based in both New York and London, focused on Project Management & Promotion, International Digital Marketing and International Marketing Services.

She will report directly to Sony Music’s US-based label heads.

Since 2012, Mallory has served as Vice President, International Marketing for Columbia Records.

She played a leading role in the development of large-scale, worldwide marketing campaigns for numerous hit releases, including Daft Punk’s Random Access Memories, Jack White’s Blunderbuss, Beyonce’s Beyonce, and Pharrell’s GIRL, among others.

Prior to joining the International Marketing team in 2010 as a Senior Director, the exec spent four years at Columbia Records developing and managing the Columbia digital marketing team in New York.

Mallory spearheaded digital campaigns for such albums as Adele’s 19, Bob Dylan’s Modern Times & MGMT’s Oracular Spectacular.

Prior to joining Columbia in 2006, Jenifer worked with the Sony Pictures Digital Entertainment team in LA for several years.Music Business Worldwide
