Sony DADC global boss Dieter Daum exits company

The executive who has led Sony DADC for more than a decade, Dieter Daum, is leaving the company next week.

Daum joined Sony DADC in 1986, working his way through the ranks to head up the company since 2003.

Sony DADC recently won UK supply chain accounts with Sony Music and Universal Music – with both majors leaving their respective deals with Arvato.

Current SVP of operations, Dietmar Tanzer, has been appointed as president of Sony DADC International, effective March 1.

He will oversee all of Sony DADC’s business operations in Europe, Australia, China, Hong Kong, India and Sony DADC BioSciences.

Meanwhile, Russell Taylor has been appointed as deputy president & CFO Sony DADC International, also effective March 1.
